Equipment of the laboratory
At the Institute of Computer Science you can solder smaller assemblies and carry out measurements on your developed systems. The following equipment is available to you:
- Digital storage oscilloscope (Rigol MSO5074), signal generator (Rigol DG1000Z), logic analyzer (Saleae Logic 8), embedded systems power profiler (Hitex PowerScale)
- Various laboratory power supplies, RCL meter (Voltcraft RCL-300), true RMS multimeter (Fluke 177)
- Various embedded systems (Raspberry Pi, Arduino, Teensy, ESP32, Wemos D-1, TelosB, OpenMote, RE-Mote, Nucleo) and expansion modules for prototype application development
- CNC milling machine (WegStr) for the prototypical production of PCBs and reflow oven (LPKF ProtoFlow E)
- Soldering stations for assembling PCBs (including Ersa i-CON Vario 2)
Notes on use
The use of the electronics laboratory at the Institute of Computer Science requires that you have basic knowledge of measurement technology and/or soldering technology. In particular, if you intend to use more expensive measuring equipment, instruction may be necessary. If you are interested in using the measurement technology, please contact us in advance by email at tucreate@tu-clausthal.de.
