The student workshop at TU Clausthal

TUCreate offers students at Clausthal University of Technology the opportunity to realize their project ideas as prototypes. Clausthal University of Technology institutes open their workshops and laboratories on a weekly basis and offer interested parties the opportunity to use existing equipment (e.g. 3D printers, soldering and welding technology) to realize their own projects.

The following workshops are currently participating in the program:

  • In the IMW's mechanical workshop, you can turn your ideas into reality using rapid prototyping (3D printing) as well as a milling machine and a laser cutter.
  • In the electronics laboratory of the Institute of Computer Science, soldering stations and various measuring equipment are available. Various embedded systems (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) and expansion boards can also be used on site for prototype design.
  • The ISAF mechanical workshop offers MIG/MAG, TIG, E-hand, WPS and laser welding by appointment.
